Michael Preston

Michael
Preston is currently pursuing a doctorate in Cognitive Studies
from Columbia
University Teachers College. Previously, Preston was
Program Officer for Technology at New
Visions for Public Schools, a nonprofit organization
dedicated to public education reform in New York City. In
that capacity, he managed Tech Power, a program that provides
funding and technical assistance to teachers implementing
innovative technology projects in their classrooms. Preston
previously worked for the Japan Foundation Center for Global
Partnership (CGP), where he administered grants for K-12
curriculum development and teacher training projects in
the US and Japan. Preston is a graduate of Harvard
University, where he majored in East Asian Studies. |
